    Thanks to Bob Morris who acted as the host for the luncheon attended by 19 Fellows and guests at the Hallmark Hotel. Following an excellent and enjoyable lunch, our President, Tony Ball, then entertained everyone with his customary wit and humour. The luncheon finished with our usual raffle, organised by Margaret Timms and Tina Steele, which raised a very creditable £190.

    27 Fellows and Guests attended the annual luncheon, organised by Fellow Tony Ham, with plenty of laughs and increased numbers meant a larger room but we were still able to retain the open square format. With a raffle and a picture auction £380 was raised for BEN plus one new member signed up.

    49 Fellows and guests visited the Morgan Motor Company, organised by Fellow Peter Lewis-Jones, on Wednesday 13th June 2012. Morgan’s Company Archivist, Martyn Webb, greeted everyone and provided some initial background on the company before commencing a fascinating tour through the factory.

    The Thames Valley Luncheon, organised by Fellow David Jordan, was held at the normal Oxford venue with 62 Fellows and Guests attending. Hon Secretary, Clive Timms, deputising for our President and Chairman and gave the Toast to The Fellowship and Guests. Our Honoured Guest, Colin Dexter OBE, responded with 40 minutes of humour based on his early school days prior to going to Cambridge University. The traditional raffle enabled a total of £552 to be included in our general account for eventual hand-over to BEN at our London Luncheon

    The 27th Annual Midlands luncheon, organised by Chairman Tony Jennings and supported by Fellows Tony Ham and Clive Timms, was held on Wednesday 25th April 2012 at the Roof Top Restaurant, Heritage Motor Centre attended by 242 Fellows and their Guests. Additionally the Luncheon was well supported by the Fellowship Committee together with David Main – Chief Executive of BEN.

    Over 60 Fellows and guests attended the annual East Anglian event organised by Fellow Patrick Faircliffe. This year, to mark the Diamond Jubilee, Fellows were fortunate in being able to visit the Museum on the Royal Estate at Sandringham, which was opened specially for the occasion.
