We are pleased to announce that Jim Hughes will be our guest speaker at this event. Jim is a past Chairman of the FMI between 2000 and 2002 as well as President from 2006 to 2010. He was born in Northumberland in 1935 and after obtaining a Diploma in Agriculture, joined the Army and fought in the 63 Gurkha Brigade against the Malayan National Liberation Army. Shortly after leaving the army he became a salesman with Champion Spark Plugs and eventually became a Director of NGK UK in 1981.
